Peacemaking: A Story of Redemption

Starting January 18th, TNL is hosting a four week discussion class on the Christian role in Peacemaking as a follow-up to Ben Peters’ talk from the Making Peace series during Advent. The group will look to the Bible and ask questions such as: What does Genesis have to do with Iraq? How do we read Exodus in light of poverty, oppression, and suffering? If Jesus said to love our neighbor, then why do we participate in a system that wars with its neighbor?
